Not Bad!

The drums are sort of apehx twin-ish, that's good. The song was awesome though. The drum glitches and those glitchy hat rolls and shit worked out well. This is a really interesting new style. I love it. The song is definetely 5 worthy. Check out my music btw if you wish, and if you ever want me to five any oter songs than PM me.

Lovely track. That trippyness at 52 seconds is noice. Beautiful and original melody too. Very Boards of Canada, and that is a ginormous compliment. You could of done some filtering on the strings to make them sound more Radiohead like. If you lowered the pitch on your drum samples it would sound very KingBastard. Anyways, this song is beautiful. It touches me <-- ( I know how you'll reply to that. Lol )

Why feed the lotus?

So that I would forget the past and stop caring about the future - those who ate the lotus fell asleep and stopped caring about ever going home.

The lotus-eaters are from Odysseus - but seeing as how this track is so disjointed and jumps around from one thing to the next, giving it that random feel, I thought it was an appropriate title. I would imagine that any if of the lotus eaters composed music that it might sound a little like this. :D

Meh Not Bad.

The thing I love about this song the most is the drums. Your drums really kicked ass. The reverse pad also sounded nice. The song wasn't really ambient though. More breakbeat techno. Good song anyways.

As soon as you introduced that lounge sample I knew you were using Reason. Funny that I recognize them from the soundbank. Good use of of samples percussion and synths. Great track! 5/5. I can't wait to hear more of your music. What version btw? Maybe a collab in the future?

i use 3.04 but its the same as 3.0... I use a lot of refills but the basic refills are mostly the best... but a colab would be ok :) its sounds cool i also use fruityloops if you like that better

You manage to make a good track. I wasn't liking those strings, they just didn't appeal to me. Neither did piano. You could of done some filtering and modding to the strings so they wouldn't sound too much like strings. The piano? Nicer with a sine wave or spacey rhodes. The 8-bit synth was also pretty kick-ass. Amazing track overall. Drums also kicked ass. You should produce downtempo/idm more often.

I forgot to change the piano. Mind you, I made this at 4 or 5 in the morning :-/ I'll change those to rhodes later, that might own.

The strings though, I plan not to change. I think it gives the song a nice triumphant feel, and I thought it added a lot to the ambience. Oh well.

And yeah, I used to produce downtempo idm beats all the time. Just I don't think that newgrounds has all of them. Just 3 or 4, not including this one.

WTF HOLY SHIT THIS IS NUTS!

This song is definitely one of the top songs in the DNB genre. This song is 10 times more intense killzone. It kicks so much ass. The song had me waving my arms in the air during the heavy intro break yelling 'BO MAH SELECTAH'. Crazy song. Perfect for a fight scene. This deserves a platinum. Also, that acid kicked ass.
